Children Discipleship Program

Matthew 19:14
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'”

The children’s discipleship program offered by Africa Hope Ministries (AHM) is a holistic faith-based initiative based in Malawi, primarily in Lilongwe and surrounding areas like Nsaru and Traditional Authority Kabadula. Targeting vulnerable children—including over 100 orphans and youth—it nurtures spiritual growth alongside essential practical support through the integrated Discipleship Feeding Program.
Approximately 130 children participate in daily morning routines featuring shared nutritious meals, Bible teachings, and group prayers, creating a nurturing environment that fosters a sense of belonging, hope, and community. The core goals are to transform lives via Christ’s love, build character through moral lessons and skill-building activities, and promote self-reliance and empowerment for a thriving future, with an emphasis on age-appropriate engagement to develop a personal relationship with God. Sessions blend spiritual discipleship with practical aid, running as part of weekday mornings to support overall community outreach.
